HISTORY OF WET EDGE

In 2005, industry experts Laurence and Mark Turley started Wet Edge Technologies® with a vision of taking the classic pool finishes and making them better. With Laurence’s background in mineral chemistry and their shared experience supplying and managing industry leader Pebble Tech, they felt the time was right to strike out in a different direction. While they acknowledge that there are good pool finishes available, they wanted to raise the standards in four major components of all pool finishes: the aggregates, the cement, the pigments and the installers. Their goal was to improve on the traditional plaster finishes and offer a better value and extended pool life to homeowners.

With the Turleys' vision and know-how and the marketing expertise of Loren Granstrom and Lora Sharp, it wasn’t long before Wet Edge Technologies® grew into an industry leader. The passion and innovative spirit that sparked the Wet Edge® brand in 2005 still remains a driving force today, and is evident in its ever growing product line and solid reputation. Governed by a corporate philosophy of growth, improvement, quality and integrity- the Wet Edge® family continues to search out new and exciting possibilities that will offer homeowners lasting beauty and value for years to come.

What We’ve Been Up To:

• December 2004 – Purchased 34 acre site for railroad facility

• January 2005 – Finished construction of 5 acre, 30,000 square foot production facility in Mesa, Arizona

• May 2005 – Finished construction on additional 7,000 square foot production facility in Mesa, Arizona

• June 2006 – Purchased 84 acre storage facility in Picacho, Arizona

• November 2006 – Purchased distribution facility in Phoenix, Arizona

• May 2007 – Purchased 105-acre farm in New Zealand to mine Greystone Pebble.

• June 2007 – Completed construction of additional 28,000 Square feet of production facilities in Mesa, Arizona

• February 2008 – Installed Wash Plant at New Zealand Quarry

• June 2008 – Purchased equipment and production facilities in Picayune, Mississippi doubling the production capabilities.

• September 2008 – Purchased and Installed equipment to process and mine the gold pebble in Picayune, Mississippi.

• February 2011 – New Zealand – Completed construction of 18,000 square foot drying, screening, and production facility.
