Altima™ Premium Pool Finish by Wet Edge Technologies™ provides many improvements to a standard plaster surface.
A plaster mix can consist of any marble sand and whichever cement is available in the industry however, Altima Premium Pool Finish is a premixed combination of quality marble sand, excellent cement and an admixture containing pozzolans and polymers. This admixture modifies the cement to improve the durability and longevity of the pool finish.
Wet Edge recognizes the powerful role that admixtures can make in improving the durability of cement. Unfortunately, cement has one poor chemical reaction in the hydration process called calcium hydroxide. Calcium hydroxide is considered to be the weak link in the formation of cement. In an effort to minimize the effects of calcium hydroxide, Wet Edge Technologies™ with guidance from leading experts specializing in cement chemistry developed this engineered admixture. The highly reactive pozzolan in this Wet Edge admixture addresses the weak link in cement and drastically reduces the formation of calcium hydroxide. The function of the polymer in the admixture is to strengthen the bonding capabilities and flexural strength in the cement which helps to reduce check cracking. Altima™ Premium Pool Finish is a fine-looking finish that you will be proud of for years to come.
Altima™ Premium Pool Finish - White
The bright white marble in this product is hand picked for its purity and brightness. Color Quartz can be added to the Altima White to create additional aesthetically pleasing color combinations.
Altima™ Premium Pool Finish - Gray
The natural gray marble is the base aggregate in this product that will never lose color since it is a crushed from a natural stone. To enhance the Altima™- Gray, Wet Edge has added a mineral based black pigment that is resistant to UV degradation and fading. The rich gray tone of this product gives the water color a gorgeous hue of blue.

Altima™ Premium Pool Finish is composed of natural materials that have certain inherent characteristics. Normal mottling could occur across the surface resulting from differences in moisture content and/or rate of hydration within the matrix of the surface coating. Normal mottled variation is not considered a failure, but is a normal characteristic of cementitious products. |
